The San Francisco Bay Area is alive and thriving with its vast array of culture and diversity.  It’s fast-paced, trend-setting reputation seems to be known, respected, and at times echoed throughout the country.  It is also an area ripe with social, economic and spiritual needs.  People Like You, with a look at both local and national figures, encourages its audience to affect positive change in the lives of those they come in contact with each day.  Whether it’s Peter Furler of the Newsboys, a small church that opens its arms to 5,000+ young people once a year, or the Concord church that creates a patriotic display to 33,000 annually, folks in all 9 counties are making a difference in our communities.  Most people have a story, we try to tell it!  People Like You is an Emmy Award winning KTLN original program that seeks to bring you true, inspiring stories of real people, local to the Bay Area.  It is a show of people like you, making a difference in the Bay Area, one life at a time.

Q&A With Debbie Fraser:

Q: Have you ever missed an interview?
AYes.  I missed an interview with Kirk Cameron from Way of the Master due to the  Gilroy Garlic Festival and unexpected traffic due to accidents.  Luckily our Director of Ministries, Matt Kenny, was there and able to interview him.

Q: Most famous person you have interviewed?
A: That would be difficult to answer even by category. Could I name a few? Jack Hayford, Newsboys, Casting Crowns, MercyMe, Stephen Baldwin, Dr. Jerry Jenkins, Jason Schmidt of the Giants,Third Day, Bill Gaither & Gang, and Jerry Rose, of course.

Q: Who would your dream guest be?
A: Tough one. I’ll need to dream a little longer before answering this one. Maybe people have some suggestions?????? (Nominate them below!)

Q: What would we see on the blooper reel?
A: I hope there is no blooper reel. Mostly you would find me go completely blank. Over and over again.  There have been times I’ve said such strange things when reading teleprompter that I can’t stop laughing. I feel as if the staff is urging me on just to get through. They see their entire afternoon disappear before their eyes.

"People Like You" was not only a wonderful experience with the staff and their professionalism, but their genuine desire to serve their guests and their Master. ..In today's "wrap it up and package it" Christianity, I am excited to see this show puts on display the fact that we are ALL in process until we cross the finish line. And, how we also can glean from different ones who have seen God's hand carry them through various difficult seasons of this earthly journey and draw strength from their experience. I have been privileged to be counted among those to share in this wonderful program!" -Heather Powers, Singer/Speaker from Episode 923 “Regeneration”

Being on People Like You on KTLN-TV was a true joy and privilege. As God continues to expand His Kingdom throughout the earth, it is important that the servants of the Lord have a conveyance and platform to be broadcast to the masses. PLY is such a valuable resource and gift to the Body of Christ. ~Jonno Moving Up-Words Music www.movingupwords.org
